Heat on Solutions are able to offer a free boiler for customers who meet the benefit criteria (see chart below).

Free Boiler Replacement Scheme

The offer is part of a free boiler replacement scheme for all types of property, private tenants, landlords and homeowners.

This is part of a government initiative to provide energy efficient warmth to thousands of households around the country

Broken, Inefficient or Old Boiler?

If you have a broken inefficient or old boiler & you meet the benefit criteria, you can have a free boiler fitted, normally within 3-5 days.

  • Pension Credit / Pension Credit
  • Working tax credit + income of less than £15,860 OR is parent
    responsible for a qualifying child OR is over 60.
  • Child Tax Credit (CTC) + income of less than £15,860
  • Income related support (ESA) + with a work related activity/support benefits OR is parent responsible for a qualifying child.
  • Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) + is parent responsible for a qualifying child OR one of the other qualifying additional benefits.
  • Income support (IS) + is parent responsible for a qualifying child OR one of the other qualifying additional benefits

NB: A qualifying child – is a child who resides with you and is either 16 or under or is under 20 and still in full time education (not higher education eg university)

Eligibility

a) Child tax credit and has a relevant income of £15,860 or less

b) Income-related employment and support allowance and
i) receiving a work-related activity or support component; or
ii) has parental responsibility for a qualifying child*; or
iii) is in receipt of a qualifying component**

c) Income-based job seeker‘s allowance and
i) has parental responsibility for a qualifying child; or
ii) is in receipt of a qualifying component**

d) Income support and
i) has parental responsibility for a qualifying child*; or
ii) is in receipt of a qualifying component**

e) state pension credit or

f) working tax credit and has a relevant income of £15,860 or less and
i) has parental responsibility for a qualifying child*; or
ii) is in receipt of a disabled worker element or severe disability element; or
iii) is aged 60 years or over

*qualifying child means, in relation to a person in receipt of an allowance, income support or working tax credit,

a child who ordinarily resides with that person and who:-
i) is under the age of 16; or
ii) is 16 or over but under the age of 20 and in full-time education (other than higher education within the meaning
of section 579(1) of the Education Act 1996)

**qualifying component means

i) child tax credit which includes a disability or
severe disability element; or
ii) a disabled child premium; or
iii) a disability premium, enhanced disability premium
or severe disability premium; or
iv) a pensioner premium, higher
pensioner premium or enhanced pensioner premium
